Abstinence Bracelets

A friend of mine is doing something wonderful! She has taken a job which entails speaking to school students to encourage them to remain abstinent until marriage. This is obviously an unpopular stance in today's society, and I'm very proud of her that she is acting on her calling to pursue this ministry!

I made her a bracelet to represent the message she is delivering. It is made from sterling silver beads, pearls, and has a charm set of a heart and the key to the heart. She loved it, and commissioned me to make one for her to give as a gift. Anticipating the possibility that others might want something similar, I made three additional bracelets. At least for now, I'm making each bracelet differently, because it seems that none of us (myself included!) wants to be wearing the exact same piece of jewelry our friend is wearing!

These bracelets sell for $65 each. They will come with a gift-box and an organza drawstring bag, ready for gift-giving! Idea: You can hang the organza bag that holds the bracelet on your Christmas tree. Then, after all the other gifts are open, you can tell your loved one to look on the tree and search for her special gift!!

Welcome!

"No, it's comfy here! Stop it! Stop suggesting that I enter the 21st century!"
"No, you can't make me!"
"OUCH!"
"OK, well, maybe!"
"OUCH! OUCH!"
"OK, already, I'll do it!"
"WAHHHHHHH"
"WAHHHHHHHH!"

"OOOh! Look at all the bright lights! Who are all of you out there looking back at me? I hope you like what you see, because I'm here now, and will be for a long, long, time. Thanks for welcoming me to your world!!"

(Congratulations! Enjoy your cigar! You just witnessed the birth of a blogger.)

Now that all the goop is wiped out from my eyes, I want you to stay tuned for posts about my jewelry designs, creations, and other beaded accessories I'm making or have made. Thanks for visiting me!
